Ranking My Marvel Rivals (Fan) Designs: Worst to Best

In 2025, I designed what I thought 17 Marvel characters would look like, if they were in the team-based 6v6 shooter video game, Marvel Rivals. I took a look back at each of the designs, and ranked them from my least to most favourite.

17. Ant-man

Too complicated, kinda ugly.

16. Blackheart

Kinda boring.

15. Skurge

Also boring.

14. Surtur

You guessed it. Boring. Cool fire, though.

13. Taskmaster

Cool mask. Boring everything else.

Bonus: Daredevil (Yellow)

A worse version of the original red.

12. Spyke

Overall an interesting re-interpretation. It’s alright.

11. Daredevil (Red)

Made some inspired choices that I should have exaggerated a bit more.

Bonus: Falcon (Captain America)

Kinda fun, but I think I could have done better.

10. Wasp

I like half of it.

9. War Machine

Great rendering. Not too interesting though.

8. Falcon

First ever design I did. Must've tried harder here.

7. Zemo

More details would make it better.

6. Kate Pryde

I like it.

5. Quicksilver

Great design. Not Quicksilver enough.

4. Malekith

No notes.

3. Amora the Enchantress

I love a woman who (looks like she) will manipulate me.

2. Kate Bishop

A unique take on the character, I think. :)

All-time fave.
